Support Services
Help and support are only moments away when you study with College Australia
We like to pride ourselves in providing you with a supported learning experience with a holistic approach.
When your mind and body are supported to be happy and healthy, it reflects upon the experiences in your life. This level of support gives you the space to focus on your studies and achieving your study and career goals!
How We Support You
Below you will find different avenues available to support you to create solid foundations for success in your studies. If you can’t
find the support you are looking for, please contact one of our friendly crew on the link below.
Personal Support
We understand that there may be times when personal issues may affect your ability to undertake your training. We encourage students to advise us if personal issues impact their attendance or progression through the course. CA staff will ensure options are available to minimise the impact on your course progress and provide alternatives, dependant on the circumstances, e.g. deferring course for a period of time.
Learning Support
All students undertake a Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment. This helps us understand your needs to undertake your study. If significant issues arise, we can direct you to the appropriate services. We also provide hints and tips and a range of micro-learning courses to assist you through your journey. A student mentor is here to help you navigate the forms of support that we can offer.
Disability Support
We understand that there may be times when personal issues may affect your ability to undertake your training. We encourage students to advise us if personal issues impact their attendance or progression through the course. CA staff will ensure options are available to minimise the impact on your course progress and provide alternatives, dependant on the circumstances, e.g. deferring course for a period of time.
Health and Wellbeing Support
Our support doesn’t stop at the classroom door. We encourage our students to try the free Smiling Mind app where you can find a series of mindfulness practices to support you through life’s ups and downs and keep you on track with your studies.
Career and Job Support
Employers often approach us for potential workforce needs. We promote these opportunities to potential students as they become available.
