What can I expect?

This qualification will create exciting possibilities for you in the hospitality industry. You will build a broad range of valuable skills and knowledge that will open the door to various career pathways such as gaming attendant, function host and front desk receptionist.

The skills you learn will become an instrumental part of your career, enabling you to understand cultural sensitivity and apply it in various situations. You will understand how providing a high standard of customer service can positively affect the business you are working within. Your role within hospitality will demand an ability to create a connection with both internal and external stakeholders providing you with an opportunity to develop relationships that impact the lives of many.

You will be able to focus your studies on any of the following hospitality sectors: Accommodation services, Customer service, Commercial Cookery, Computer and ICT, Food and Beverage, Food Safety and Gaming, enabling you to further prepare and position yourself for your dream hospitality role.

Workplace practical
requirements

You will be required to follow your training plan. This will be discussed and agreed upon at induction. If you do not meet the obligation of the agreed timeframe, other charges may be applicable. Maximum time frames are subject to volumes of learning and qualifications being superseded.

Certificate 3 Guarantee funding via the Queensland Government’s Skills Assure Program supports ELIGIBLE* students in obtaining their first post-school Certificate III Qualification. Students will be required to make a co-contribution fee (listed above) prior to the commencement of their course. Enrol

Apply for the course you want with College Australia by completing the quick and easy online Enrolment Form. Click on the link below and choose the relevant qualification. When we receive your application, we will send you an email regarding the pre-enrolment eligibility requirements, including a Language Literacy and Numeracy assessment, Recognition of Prior Learning application and an outline of documentation required for your enrolment to proceed.

Meet your mentor

We will call you to confirm details, discuss eligibility, workplace and assessment requirements and ensure everything is correct.

This interview forms part of your orientation into your course and will allow you to ask further questions.

You will then be required to make payment.

Once payment is received, we will then send you the Confirmation of Enrolment (COE). This Includes details of your Educator and your Training Plan outlining the units you are undertaking and due dates

Commence your studies

You will receive an email with your login details. Remember these details and bookmark the login URL in your browser. Logging in will give you access to your first unit in the online portal.
